Coaching Requirements

The PVIHC follows USA Hockey, AAHA, and league requirements for its coaching staff.

All coaches are required to have the following certifications:

Current Season USA Hockey Registration
A current and valid CEP#
Completed age specific online modules: High School (16/18/19 and Under) - Middle School (14 & Under) - Elem. School (12 & Under)

In addition to coaching certifications and registration, the following safety clearances are required to be completed:

Completed Safesport Training (annual requirement)
PA ACT-15 Clearance Requirements (required every 5 years) - these documents are required to be submitted to NCSI
Child Abuse Clearance
State Criminal Background Check
FBI Background Criminal History Check OR Notarized Affidavit Completed Background NCSI Screening (required every 2 years)
